A LOOK AHEAD……
September usually brings a slowing in the market as people get ready for school. I do wonder if the volume of listings will increase due to people deciding to list before the spring market. In most cases, this will be a good decision. Even with 50% of jobs returning in Canada, the question remains about the other 50%. Also, when the CERB payments stop….what will happen? The fall market usually has lower demand and if this is supported by higher supply, then this could be that straw. No collapse looming but definite pressure is present.
There is general downward pressure in the market, but only time will tell if we get confirmation of this pressure resulting in a price move. I am still calling for a 13% price reduction from today June 30, 2020 to December 31, 2021. Let's see if I am right.
